Sipora is a hydration tracking app designed to help you build healthy daily water intake habits. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Data stored only on your device

Sipora stores the following data locally on your device only:

Your weight and biological sex (used solely to calculate your WHO-recommended daily water intake goal)
Your climate preference (cool, moderate, or hot)
Your daily water intake logs
Your hydration streak and total log count
Your selected bottle skin and unlocked caps
Your notification preferences and reminder schedule
Your selected language
Your premium status and ad-free period

Data we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifier
We do not create user accounts
We do not sync your data to any cloud or external server
We do not track your location
We do not share your data with third parties
We do not sell your data. Ever.

3. Advertising

Sipora displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob to free-tier users. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve relevant ads, including:

Advertising ID (Android)
Device information
General location (country/region level)

This data is collected and processed by Google under their own privacy policy. You can review Google's privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Premium users have all ads permanently removed and are not subject to AdMob data collection within the app.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

4. In-App Purchases

Sipora offers a one-time in-app purchase for Premium access. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment information. All transactions are handled securely by Google.

5. Notifications

If you grant permission, Sipora sends local push notifications to remind you to drink water throughout the day. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

6. Permissions We Request

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE	Required by AdMob (free tier only)

7. Children's Privacy

Sipora is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by:

Using the Reset all app data option in Settings
Uninstalling the app from your device

Uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data.
